Powder Paint On Line Weights

I tried painting my own worm weights this weekend with powder paint and then finishing them in the oven. What is the trick to dipping and hanging the weights without the insert holding the weight getting stuck in the line hole.

I used round toothpick in each end. Then warmed them up, rolled them in the powder coating using a gatorade cap, then set them on a drying rack...2 -2x4's....Not really hi tech but worked. About 1/2 were really good, rest went to the catfish box.

Once they cool off and harden,,,you can pull some or snap them off and use a 1/16th bit to open it up.
