1-13-14 Report

Left the kings river for clearer water up the white and found chocolate water to pt. 21. Water is 39 degrees and very dark in that area. Threw a rig, jig, spoon and jerkbait with no luck. Turned around and headed back down the kings past kings marina and found nice green water. Temp was around 39. I managed to catch 3, all about 15 and one eighth all on a 1/2 oz. war eagle spoon. Most fish I saw were down in the 30' range. Tons of baitfish out there but I couldn't get any to hit the spoon besides the 3 I caught. All 3 bass were almost as white as a white bass.
