Quillback Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 The AGFC "Talking Outdoors" did a show on the Little Red, it aired today - but you can go to the AGFC website and watch it if you missed it. They were fishing the 1st week of December, targeting browns in a shallow, riffly stretch of river. They caught a bunch on flies fished under indicators. Mostly 12-16" fish, but one that looked to be in the 5-7 lb. range. They did a pretty good show. I was impressed by how many browns were in that relatively short stretch of river.
LittleRedFisherman Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Jeff, it's a really good river for browns. I'd bet they were fishing Cow Shoals. They probably do one or two shows on the Litte Red every year. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Quillback Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Probably was Cow Shoals, I'm not familiar with that river, but it was a shallow stretch of river.
