Gusts Of Wind Made Fishing Very Tough

I fished with Brett Potter today up at the dam, if you want to call it fishing. We did wet our lines and caught a couple (miracle) but the wind was wicked, coming over the dam and down the lake.

I could feel them nipping at the jigs and spoons I tried but trying to hold the flat bottom boat in the wind and fish was impossible.

But there were people at the resort that came in with trout. On this windy lake there were places you could get out of the extreme wind.

Any reports?

Coming down tomorrow (Sunday) with the boat. Gonna make our way up towards trophy area if enough water. Giving the jig fishing a try too. Will post results .
