Members brosborough Posted January 25, 2014 Members Posted January 25, 2014 I missed the spawn last year. Hoping to catch it this year. Any of you go after these guys and could give me a guess when to start making trips? I don't live in NWA so hoping to free up the proper weekends and maybe luck into them once or twice. Thanks, Brian
J-Doc Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Hard to say because weather has been so odd this year. Not any time soon. Lol If it warms up soon so water temps start rising, it will be a bit easier to predict. That's not much help in answering your question but I would say at least one to two months. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
rps Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Last year February was the month for river walleye below Beaver dam. March was the month in the upper lake area.
Feathers and Fins Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Truth on Beaver is they can go from March to June really good but it is a big lake and takes a lot of work to learn where they are or might be. If you want your best shot on the Main Lake late April would be when I go. White below the dam Randy ( rps ) is the expert on that area. White up-river around war eagle March can be very good. There is no real season though. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
