28 boats today. Weights were not as good as past years. People said they were either biting short or not all at. Slow and not many good trout. Lots of browns caught though... strange. No keepers but some up to 19 inches. This is an artificial lure tournament so most threw jigs, spoons and small crank baits. No one fished above Fall Creek.

I fished at and below fall creek with the s-waver badonk-a-donk and had some followers and tail slaps with s-waver and nothing on the badonk-a-donk. Its was very windy today and hard to keep the boat straight with the wind blowing the front of it around

As always you hold a great tournament and the food was fabulous but I must agree the fishing was difficult at best. However we caught more browns than ever which is good news for the future. We fished mainly crankbaits from Cooper Creek down to the bridges but were hard pressed to catch rainbows. Met some interesting people, ate well and will be back to try our luck next year again.

Thanks for hosting another great tournament. Dissapointing as It was. We fished jigs of various colors both straight, and under a float. We released lots of small fish only to find out that was what most others were weighing. We had one decent rainbow, and several small ones. Nothing that would have been in contention so we didn't bother bringing them to the scale. Just released them at the dock.

We tried Cooper Creek, and below, Monkey Island, the bridges, Short Creek, the narrows at Trout Hollow and below, and the bluff across, and up from Lilley's. One Brown about 16 inches, and a small crappie in addition to the small rainbows.

Nothing much for the Gator to roar about, but there's next Saturday and R.A.W. to look forward to.
