I floated below the dam on Sunday, water is usually a little warmer due to generation above but Sunday wasn't the case. Great float but nothing over 2 lbs. Only thing I could get bit on was a jig fished tight to cover. Hope this helps. Probably caught 12 bass total, lmb, spots and 1 smallmouth

We went out last Sunday. 2 on jigs 9 on jerkbAits. 1 2 pause for about 5 seconds seemed to get most of our bites

Where is a good take out point from the dam. I have a friend that can shuttle me back up.

Hwy 160 also known as South Campbell is the first take out below Springfield Dam. I just floated that section last week and saw an older gentleman doing well. You will have 1 low water bridge to overcome, but if you stay all the way to the right side, you can get underneath without having to get out. After that the river is clear to float.
