The park in Ozark is still frozen as of this morning.

Edit: Ozark Mtn. Trading company was down there at lunch busting the ice up at the ramp - should be fine tomorrow, for paddling at least - good luck on the fishing.

I fished a little today around the park area. Caught the one seen in my profile photo currently. Only real hit of the day, but it was a decent catch. I was testing out a new rod and have to say it held up nicely. Fish didn't seem all that active yet, however, that could be due to the rocks being thrown by kids all around and tons of others fishing as well. All in all it was a good day with my ladies and perfect weather as well.

Did you see the little prams or whatever those couple of tiny boats that were out there after lunchtime? Or was that you?

I was fishing from the bank, I have not yet purchased a boat, but I'm considering a kayak since I mostly fish alone. I didn't see what you were talking about, it was late afternoon by the time I got there. Fished from about 4-6.

My son and I went fishing at the park a couple of times early March, 10-11.

We took our small wooden boats, perhaps it was us you saw? Blue and orange boats.
