Guest Jim Traylor
Guided one gentleman tuesday for a day. We got a good start 7:30 am and put in at White Hole access and went down stream. The river was uncrowed for such a nice day with the sun shining and temps climbing to 71 F. The spot I wanted to fish was empty with fisherman, a small 30 yard stretch near the narrows. It turned out to be a good day using an unreal eggs (described by jorob in the fly recipe post with pics). Lots of fish landed and pics taken. My fisherman from Michigan hooked and released 15 brown trout before noon that averaged 16 to 18 inches with the biggest at 22" and the smallest at 14 inches. Our average was 16 to 18 inches. We rigged up with a small 3/8's white indicator and an unreal egg about 36 inches below that with no weight.
