Members Woodland Artisan Posted April 7, 2014 Members Posted April 7, 2014 17" bass (fat) was the only thing worth mentioning and that was my partners' catch today.
Sac River Jim Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 strat your 9 keepers are about the best ive heard of so far. some of the locals there at Greenfield have been fishing minnows off the old roadbed and picking up 4 or 5 and thats been pretty much it so far. my club fishes out of Ruark this coming Saturday and I was hoping to run up there but i'm seriously considering running up turnback instead. A friend of mine been doing pretty good up above CC last few days. he ran up there yesterday afternoon and caught 9 nice keepers in less than 2 hrs had a nice 4lb bass too.
Members strat278 Posted April 7, 2014 Author Members Posted April 7, 2014 he done pretty good, seams like every thing is pretty close, you guys might have a good tournament if this weather gets in the seventys like there talking
Sac River Jim Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 im hoping. so i agree i think its bout ready to explode up there in the next few days. It's been pretty good up the big sac and turnback last couple of weeks and traditionally the sons run is couple three weeks later so i'm hoping the timing will be just about right. A good warm rain wont hurt matters either.
Members strat278 Posted April 8, 2014 Author Members Posted April 8, 2014 i agree good warm rain some warm nights = mushrooms & good fishing,
