Nice pics GD. That one pic's a chunky SM. Where'd you put in and take out?

Barclay to Leadmine- what's funny is the guy in the pic is from Iowa. When I met him he didn't believe me there was a place nearby with clear rivers where you could legally camp on a gravel bar. He gets so excited when catches a fish. Clearly that's not the biggest SM of the year but it doesn't matter to him. As a matter of fact that fish was caught at 9 am Saturday morning and he didn't catch another fish the rest of the weekend. But he could have cared less... He was living the dream paddling in a place that was cool.

Yep, that Iowa boy ain't seen nothin' yet when it comes to our smallmouth streams. GD... we'll have to hook up for an upper JF float one of these days. KC boys ya know?

Nice pictures. The eagle above the river is almost identical to an experience my son and I had below the 64 access. The eagle didn't leave until we had passed under him.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Awesome pics. I can't wait to get out on the niangua with my new yak. I've never been lower than Barclay. Looks very nice.
