Members Pelican06 Posted April 16, 2014 Author Members Posted April 16, 2014 Thanks for the replies, if it's not a secret what kind bait works good. I'm just starting to get into bass fishing.
Members redtickstreed Posted April 19, 2014 Members Posted April 19, 2014 Went today and hit the cc bridge and walked the bank I took several plastic worms and caught around 20 bass none over 3 lbs but had a blast red shad culprit 7.5 inch with a 1/4 oz bullet weight and cast along the brush. I did pick up a few small bass on a 3 inch white grub with a 1/2 oz football jig head. I talked to a few guys picking them up on spinners double willow blades white and chartreuse. But then I heard the crappie were biting and well.... Crappie in the freezer.
Sac River Jim Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 the old 39 road bed down at the very end of it holds some bass this time of year too. off to your left you will see some standing timber and just past it and to your right theres a good hump out there. holds some eye on it too.
