Fishslayer88 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Me and a buddy put my canoe in at Blunks this evening and paddled up to the shoal we fished from about 8:30 to 10:30 we ended up keeping 30 and probably threw back just as many they really took off after dark.

Members Hawk Posted April 24, 2014 Members Posted April 24, 2014 Thanks! We are planning on making a trip after turkey hunting tomorrow. Just wanted to what they like so it wasn't a wasted trip! You throwing the swimmers on a jig heads? What size? Sorry for all the questions - I'm a newbie.
Fishslayer88 Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 1/16 oz jig heads I always have white , purple, chartreuse and blue thunder swimming minnows and use the lightest line you can get away with I like 4lb.
