Just thinking about trying this method for crappie later in the season, Reading the regs, they state that if you have more than 3 poles then you have to label them with your name, etc. Any suggestions on best way to do this.

I use the mailing labels that Ducks Unlimited, Pheasnts Forever, groups like that mail to you wanting you to join. I just put them on my rods and cover them with clear packing tape to keep moisture from destroying them. Or I have used a label maker to put my name and conservation number on.

So am I to understand that you may use more than 3 rods while spider rigging as long as they are all labeled?

If using more than 3 rods in any type of fishing, even if fishing from the bank. Can not set out more than 3 without labeling them with name or conservation number on them.
