wuteversbitin424 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 This cool spell prolonged it i would say. A buddy found 130 yesterday
vonreed Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Now is a great time to look. Most(not all) have popped up. Which makes it easier to find them now more than ever. This is a great time of year to look for morels. A lot may be to dried out or rotten, but some are still keepers. Plus with them being easier to find makes it easier to find new spots for next year. I always save new areas I want to look for this time of year. Good luck.
Ranger520vx Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I think we probably have another good week or so with the upcoming warm weather. I found 90 yesterday. Most were fresh but did find a few old ones. Good luck with your mushroom hunting.
