CMAC
I am embarrased to report, but only two very large walleye decided to bite in two days while searching for bass out of Pontiac. A stickbait no doubt. Both days were not real condusive as fog stayed until noon one day and the wind blew 20-30 out of the North the next. Geez. But, could of spent my time working, will take tough fishing anyday
Tightline
CMAC, it would take awful lot of bass to make up for 2 very large Walleyes in my opinion, just how large were they if you dont mind me asking. TL
CMAC
TL, Let me start off by saying I no walleye expert and don't claim to be, but these fish (e) between 22"-24" give or take. Like I said, to me they were large walleye, to the connoisseur they probably aren't that big. They were awful skinny fish. But sure were pretty!! Slamed a stick bait. Tightline
CMAC,those are good sized fish.Walleye can be really fickle.Seems if I go out just to catch Walleye they will more times than not make me look stupid, and other times while White Bass or Bass fishing I'll catch all I want. They are certainly one of the Ozarks premier sport fish! CMAC
QB, Mine too, my favorite way to eat them is a deep fried Walleye sandwhich, with cheese and Mayo. That's just me!!! Later,
