Seen a guy in a red jacket this morn as we put in just before rain he Was catching a bucket full of 5 to 6 inch bluegills ? Sure looked fun .... stockton seems to have a abundance of these? Nothing big just small ones ? DPrice

stockton is full of big gills i love to fish for em on hot july days off of main lake points almost better than eating them.

Hey Jim How big do they get in the Stockton? I caught 1 once didn't weigh or measure but it had to be 12 inches long and 1 1/2 thick ?

Oh Good Lord Redsox I hope the old farts in my crappie club don't see your post on crappie not being a sport fish you might give one them a stroke lmbo!!!!!! They eat and breathe crappie fishing.All we fish for is a trophy at the end of the year but you would think they were fishing in the bassmaster classic!!!!!! Seriously tho i joined the club last year and i thought i'd probly hold my own against them but NOT!!!!!! I never really chased crappie around the lake till about 4 years ago and it has been a hard transition for me from tournament bass fishing to tournament crappie fishing.

i can see where going from tournament bass fishing to crappie tournament fishing would be a challenge

you don't know! thats why when you catch one, you take a picture and watch it swim away

I just asked you. You said there were more 15" bass than 8lb bass... Nobody knows how many of what size bass are in any lake. Nobody. Electro shocking only covers the first 5-10' of the water column. What about the other 60-80'? Stockton is full bass regardless. Big and small. And of all 3 species. There should be ZERO complaining about me or anybody else keeping a fish. Of any species. I don't go fishing and wonder. What will you say about me keeping this. I honestly don't care. But for you to sit here and act like a saint, know-it-all, and a biologist is ridiculous.
