yaknar Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I got out friday for a little kayaking and fishing. When I left the house it was 34 degrees. I bought a pair of brown jersey gloves and cut off the tip of the fingers hoping to keep my hands warm. .As you can see I did OK. I don't count my fish but I caught a 'mess of fish". I caught equal numbers on crankbaits and plastic swimbaits. Caught the cat on a 1/8 plastic swimbait which was a nice surpise. I did break a hook off one of the trebles of a crankbait. It just fell off. The lure was working so good I dedcided to try it again and on the next cast I caught another. Great day on the river. Took pictures of a few, I have many more pics but thought maybe even this was too many, and released them all.
Mofloatjunkie Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Looks like you had a good trip. The last few times I've fished the James all I can catch is goggle eye. Not that I'm complaining though. Thanks for the post and the pics.
