Fishing Report May 26

Had an opportunity to wade for a bit this morning. Walked down the hill and there were quite a few fishermen already fishing. Met Stan and Chuck, two great guys that live in Pointe Royale. I walked strait out from the access since there were guys fishing further up stream. Had my 4wt rod with 7x tippet and tied on a cream/tan micro jig with an indicator. First cast I caught a 13 inch bow. From there on, it was a fish on approximately every 3rd cast. All 14 fish caught were between 12" to 16". One nice bow broke my tippet where I had a previous knot in the line, so I tied on another cream/tan micro jig. The picture attached was what was left of the fly! Was great to fish Taney again! You guys that live close are very lucky!!

Glad you had the opportunity to go bud. Sounds a lot like the last time we fished down there.
