Have fun Jerry. Take the wife up to see Charlie to talk fishing. J/K that will get you in trouble. Watch out for the ticks and chiggers,they are bad this year. They are even in the short grass and weeds around my camper this year.

Got me some stuff to spray with the garden hose this weekend. Hopefully that will get rid of those nasty pesky critters. My ankles are tore up from me scratching.

On the fishing end. Standard black zebra midges worked pretty well last weekend. There was also some pretty good late afternoon hatches. I caught a few on EHC's.

HAving fun and the weather is perfect today. I went to the stream early this morning. I caught 16 in 3 Hours on assorted midge colors. Best was black zebra midge.

Fished yesterday in the evening and caught a dozen or so on a black foam beetle pitched up next to the bank. Really fun. There was a small mayfly hatch but they were not taking them for squat. They loved the beetle under the tree limbs.

hooked a muskrat up by the gauge house tonight. All hell broke loose for a few seconds then I snapped it off. Wouldn't know how to clean one anyway!!

You just skin them from the ankles forward. Parboil until tender and grill to put a little bark on here and there with some of your favorite sauce. Better than any squirrel you ever ate.
