Looks like another banner year on the breeding grounds! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will have another fantastic year!

Hope everyone is having a great summer and, look forward to the great reports and discussions here this fall.

I saw the report and it looks good but I wasn't surprised as the resident goose population in NWA was through the roof on breeding this year and I have seen many ducklings including teal that bread on the lake this year ( first time I have seen that ). I followed the biologist reports through the survey time and had a feeling from the buzz they were going to be high numbers.

Should be a good year but I think the numbers are LOW if you followed the reports many of them were completed or hampered by weather and ground conditions and I believe there was a very late breeding this year that would not have made the counts.

Snow geese are up again. I guess all those shotgun shells i bought didnt help very much.
