Members 67jeep Posted July 12, 2014 Members Posted July 12, 2014 I am new to the area, but not a new trout fisherman. I love fishing the White so much I bought a boat, and am having a heck of a time learning the river, and fishing at the same time. I have fished the White several times with guides, and of course wading when low water for several years. Now I have a River Jon, and fishing alone sucks. If anyone wants to go fishing with me, and help me learn the river, it would be awesome. I generally put in at the Park below the dam, but I can trailer it most anywhere. I'm ready to go fishing today! Please email me at: jeeprubicon2013atoutlookdotcom No day is complete without a learning experience, and some fun!
Members ARHeadhunters Posted July 12, 2014 Members Posted July 12, 2014 When I'm fishing I have a remote trolling motor with the foot pedal. It allows me to run the boat from the back so I can get on the outboard quickly if needed and keeps my hands free to manage the line/casts/fish. Members 67jeep Posted July 12, 2014 Author Members Posted July 12, 2014 Thanks AR, I have a remote trolling motor, and I agree it helps a lot. I just figured it would be cool to find someone with experience running the river to fish with. Anyone out there with a boat that is down for maintenance wanna go fishing?
