Thanks for posting Fins. I am curious how LE apply the law, particularly for #'s 2 and 3. For example, if law enforcement had witnessed the boat wake that washed over the back of your boat a few weeks ago I wonder how many of them would have tracked down the offender and written a ticket. #2 and 3 seem difficult to enforce unless there is an injury that results from the incident.

When I used to live up by Lake of the Ozarks, I was fishing a tournament in the fall and the bass were suspended under the ends of the long condo docks. I was fishing them all day and the wave runners were buzzing me on a consistent basis. One water patrol noticed it and started pulling them over and writing tickets to every one that buzzed me! I wanted to troll over and give him a high five but thought better of it...

Wow, that's horrible. I was paddling towards 12 bridge at 130 this afternoon when the ambulance drove over the bridge towards RB. A few seconds later the life flight chopper appeared over the trees flying towards RB too. Prayers for those involved.

Was that you YAK by 12 bridge around 11? If yes. Sorry I didn't say hi. I was looking for your flag. Didn't see it.

Well tack this on to Wake Boaters who think its funny to come head on at you while your jigging. Cut my day short because of it to go home and take care of it and get it up and elevated its so nice and swollen now. Guy came head on at me and about 15 to 20 yards away raised his beer! No I didn't have time to get the numbers wake was on me to fast and I was trying to keep from being thrown out of the boat but got this instead.

Sorry to see that, FnF. Hope you heal up okay. Nice legs.

Saturday a boat full of morons did the same to me while iI was fishin. Came by throwing a big wake and waving at me from about 30 yards. I guess they thought they were really something. When I was putting my boat back on the trailer at HB, another wake boat came past and their wake pushed me right into the unprotected metal corner of the courtesy dock and it really boogered up my boat's rub rail. Luckily it didn't sustain any fiberglass damage. I guess that's what the rub rail is for.

Dear Army Corps of Engineers and Park Rangers,

Please use our tax dollars and launch fees wisely. Perhaps the next time you stop by the launch ramps to re-spray paint "No Fishing" on the courtesy docks, maybe you could take note of whether any repairs to the docks are warranted.

Sincerely,

A concerned tax-paying boater/fisherman/citizen

Dang Fins. Terrible to see that you were injured. The reckless boating is getting out of hand on Beaver.

Obviously you haven't been to PC lately and seen the broken cleat's on the docks and exposed metal. Yes they can close the park down for the politicians BS but lord help them if they would lift a finger for safety concerns.

Thanks about the leg im sure it will heal im just pissed off, I really looked forward to a midweek quiet day of taking Nick's fish from him. I did manage a pair of small walleye and a WO white bass bite I would have sat on all day.
