Caught 15 bass Sunday neosho area. 4 smallmouth 1 spotted bass and rest large mouth. 10 or so nice goggle eye. White fluke, pumpkin tube, wacky worm rig and power worm all work equally well. I have fished shoal creek for 20 years and that was my first spotted bass. Catch tons on spring river but none on shoal. Anyone else catch any spots?

Shoal Creek has a pretty good population of spots/ Kentuckies. I've caught them all up and down the creek. There are some pretty nice ones in there too.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

I haven't fished shoal creek much in the last 7 or so years. I like spotted bass although they tend to compete with smallmouth. Thanks for the imput. I was fishing between lime kiln and Allen bridge.I live in neosho. Probably see you on the water.
