rainbow Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Leonard, how do you walk around when it is dark? I have a hard enough time navigating the rocks on the bottom in the daytime.
Terry Beeson Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I think Leonard let one of those bats and a beaver bite him and now he has night vision and radar... (OK... small LED flashlight clipped to your vest. On only when you are moving or checking for the Taneycomo Giant Man-Eating Squid...) TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Micheal Kyle Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Princeton Tec and E-gear will be your friends, they have some nice head lamps that start out at $15 and go up to around $80. Once you start fishing Taney at night a lot you will learn the place like it is the back of your hand. I'm sure Leonard is like myself and can tell you where every rock is, however with that said there has been a few nights that I'm sure that some one just put the rock there. There has been a few nights that all I needed was soap and a towel. My favorite light is the Eos and or the Apex form Princeton Tec I have both and like them equally. Leonard Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 Yes... Like Michael said..Lights are your friend at night.. Lots of guys likes to use the LEDs.. but I use a small flashlight, not as bright.. I can see through the water a little better and it doesnt spook the fish as bad as a LED (but this just me).. yes I do carry a back up light (small) and a LED.. Also know the bottom is a must... some places I have no problem fishing in but other I just dont go to at night... Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com

Micheal Kyle Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 yea waz up with that. I actually tripped and went all in. I fish Taneycomo about 125-150 nights a year and that was the first time that I fell in, in about 5 years. Ps: I was surfing the net and I was on Google and it asked me if I wanted to down load the Google toolbar. I said what the heck so I did. It actually has a spell check on it for the forums that you type on pretty cool no more missed spelled words from me. The reason I brought this up is that some one said something about this issue a few months back that we did not have spell check on the forum. Michael To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
