I am not a mac guy... But if you send me the picture in a PM I might be able to convert it for you.... a picture should have a name like JOESFISH dot JPG JOESFISH.JPG

Changing the size can be done with a picture editor, you go to the editor and change the picture size to ( for instance) 640 x 480 pxls... I use either photobucket, facebook to simply upload them here

I'm not sure, but you may have an image that is too large. That will stop any transfer.

The way I post is to do a "save as" and then select size from that. And I place it on my desktop. Then it's simple: do your post and look for "More reply options" on the lower right.

Then it asks you Choose File, which you should do. Then below that, Attach This File. Hit that button as well. FINALLY-- there is an "Add to Post" selection on the far right, parallel to the image you've chosen. Click on that, and you'll see an image tag in your post. That should be all you need to do.

I do have problems, though, with the image posting inverted...don't know what's up with that, but it does happen to me.

And, of course, you have to click on Add Reply or Add Post (not sure of the exact usage in an original message) at the bottom.

Picasa is a free app from Google. I use it to administer, edit, and post phone and camera pictures. Open your phone or camera picture in it. Crop, adjust contrast, adjust color, and adjust brightness. Then "export" it to a home folder you set up and use 800 X 600 as the size. That will load on nearly every board.

Since you're using a Mac, it won't be that difficult. It isn't quite as straightforward as one might like, but if I can do it without screaming for help, it is simple enough.
