We had our first baby last night (1/6/07) at 2133. His name is Braden, and he is 19" long, 6lbs 10oz and healthy! Great set of lungs for screaming and sleeping! I am staying at the hospital till tomorrow with her, and am so excited to have given birth to my little fishing buddy!

Congratulations on the birth of you and your wifes first born. You have been blessed with a special addition to the family. May they arrive home healthy and safe. Just remember to spoil him before the grandparents get a hold of him. That way you can take credit for that, and not them.

A friend and I were watching my son---then about 25 years old---casting, fishing, catching and releasing fish; while we sat on the bank smoking cigars to end our day.

My friend asked; Did your son play football? I told him yes, and his response was---Well that's over, but this fun with your boy (or girl) can go on for a lifetime.

How right he is.
