You wouldn't think they would, Robert, but unless the company guy who was helping me select a new unit was incorrect, MK does. I told him that I needed a cable drive, and his response was that they could do it, but it was an upcharge for providing one--that the company had to splice one in. I'm a belt and suspenders kind of person when it comes to boats.

I cut my fishing teeth at Ouachita. If you are fishing out of Mountain Harbor, you might start at Point 10 just east of there and work your way over to Pollard Creek and on toward Crystal Springs. Should be some grass in those areas, as I hear it's coming back since the Corp wiped it out a few years ago. There's also some good fishing in the mouth of North Fork (around the 25 sign) and west of Mountain Harbor toward Shangri-La and Denby Point.

I still prefer the foot control by cable models. Simple and nearly failure free.
