Members Nharris Posted September 20, 2014 Members Posted September 20, 2014 Just curious. Anyone know of a good area near branson to fish table rock from the shore. I'm coming down in a couple weeks for vacation and would like to catch some fish. Thanks
gramps50 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 You can fish from the shore in the state park by the darn. I was there in august and didn't have much luck but it might have been the time of day.
Nitroman Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Check out the area from where the BRANSON BELL docks going in both directions, from the BB toward the DAM, & from the BB toward the STATE PARK MARINA. Couple of good sections in there. Rock View Resort Table Rock Lake Greg Pope, Owner/Operator & Fishing Guide
Wayne SW/MO Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Check out the area from where the BRANSON BELL docks going in both directions, from the BB toward the DAM, & from the BB toward the STATE PARK MARINA. Couple of good sections in there. There should be some small bass, goggle eye and gills moving into the shallows pretty soon. I would throw a small grub, or the like, in something dark like pumpkin, watermelon/red or the like on a jig head. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
bfishn Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Some of the resorts on Indian and Jaques Creek will let you fish from their docks for a minimal fee. Fishing where the fish are can easily be worth a 5-10 spot in those cases. For the dates you mention, try to find a spot 1/2 to 2/3 of the way back in the creek arms. I can't dance like I used to.
