catman Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 When I hooked into the first 15" bow at Roaring River this weekend, without question I had to work it to land the fish for sure, this was the largest fish I have caught on it (heart thumper for sure). drew03cmc Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 You think it will work well with a WF5F? If so, I might just order one in the morning! It would also make an awesome small stream rod. Andy

Terry Beeson Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Roll casts and even "bow" casts in VERY tight brush... drew03cmc Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 I just bought a 4pc St Croix Premier 8'4wt. It should work everywhere I want it to, and if I need a shorter rod, a Featherlight is only $20 at Tim's! Andy
