Rusty Posted January 12, 2007 Author Posted January 12, 2007 One thing I learned on the tires I bought for my F-250 decide what you want then check out the prices, when checking for a good price don't leave out the dealers. My Ford dealer had the best price, even beat the so called discount people. Funny you should say that. 45 minutes ago, I talked to a Ford dealer, and their quote was 70.00 higher per tire than any others quoted.
Snow Fly Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 HEY RUSS! Guess you need to move to IL. Man what a wide gap on price Maybe the guy who sold me mine, in the alley behind the Ford dealership, didn't really work for FORD "God gave fishermen expectancy, so they would never tire of throwing out a line"
Rusty Posted January 12, 2007 Author Posted January 12, 2007 Do you still have a contact for him? Just kidding
Members drbewley Posted January 13, 2007 Members Posted January 13, 2007 Thank me later. http://www.goodyeartires.com/goodyeartires...mp;sidewall=OWL Quiet, smooth ride with excellent traction.
NoLuck Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Guys, I work in the automotive field and every tire shop I deal with recommends using Cooper tires.I am really hard on tires and I get close to 55-60,000 miles on mine on the Dicoverer A/T. If you want a tire a little quieter use the H/T version. They are way better than any Goodyear tire I ever used.Consumer reports ranked them third behind Michelin And Bridgestone. The big advantage is COST.They are nearly 35-40 dollars EACH cheaper.Customer satisfaction is just as high as Michelin.
