Brittsnbirds - thanks for the comment , I'll have to give that beverage a try as it's one I havn't indulged in yet.

My most productive fly was a mink sculpin pattern that I tie alot. Just a size #4 or #6 streamer hook with some ice dub..a mink strip...rubber legs and a conehead. Basically a pine squirrel sculpin tied with mink. I admit to not working at it real hard and changing flies alot though so obviously something else might have been even better.

Thanks, take care of that pooch. I see it in your blog that you treasure your time with him. Your pics of Joe with you and your adventures remind me of the days that Dixie, Junior and Biscuit use to hit it together as well.

I know you suffer from this, but most people down at BSSP knew Dixie by name but not me!! They would see my silver Chevy with the crate and ask where she was. Once I lost her people continued to ask and convey their sympathy.

Keep it up dude!! Would love to meet Joe some day and get my "dog fix" in.
