I fished Friday and Saturday. Fishing was pretty good with some 15-16" Bows caught. Going to post a TR on my blog soon, with pictures and additional details.

I fished the LR on Saturday morning in 30mph winds. We put in at a private ramp just below Cow Shoals. I wasn't about to do a float with that kind of wind, so we just fished that hole. Good thing too. The wind was so strong that we were blowing upstream in even the fastest current areas. There are a lot of log jams in that hole, so we'd post up on one for a while and try to fish. Wife never got a bite on panther martins or rooster tails. I caught a rainbow and two browns in the 14" range on jigs. That was it. After getting blown around for two hours, we packed it in.

It was rough Sat...I put in at Lobo and floated down to Mossy, waded till lunch. Then floated to DS. Fished all day in the wind...not much fun fly fishing in that wind but the fish were biting on that stretch. Caught around 25 bows, no browns on Sat. Hope to get everything in my blog tonight. Accepted.

I can tell ya the wind wasn't any easier in the Norfork Tailwater, wife and I each caught one Rainbow(C&R).

We have a meeting to go to this Saturday, but the weekend of the 13th....pending rain, we plan on being at the Little Red throwing sowbugs, olive woolly buggers, and a few zebra midges.

Looks like the chances of rain are minimal tomorrow? Fingers crossed....

Been seeing generation for four hours on Saturday mornings(looking back through the last couple weeks), will just have to see once we get there though....

Cars already packed, alarm clocks set, and coffeemaker is on 'stand-by'!

Dam site or Cow Shoal, that's the only question remaining before the drive north.....maybe a flip of the coin?

Wasn't holding my tongue in the correct position I guess.....nada. Threw everything I could think of? Not the first time the river just didn't produce for me, and it probably won't be the last.

Maybe next weekend, have too many logs to run across the sawmill to go tomorrow....
