Amery Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 We arrived late Friday night, waded down to the spider creek hole, and doubled up within moments. Fished a few hours into Saturday morning. Caught 10 or 12 each on black buggers. Slept a few hours then fished hard from 7:00-5:00. Ended up with around 30 each. Best bite was on a hare n copper followed by an olive midge. Fished in between spider creek and the 62 bridge. The average size increases down there. Saturday night I met some friends in eureka and ate Jell-O shots and did some hip hop dancing. Out of character for me but I had a blast. Slept in a little Sunday but still fished for several hours. Caught a 17" bow followed by a 17" brown. 15 fish brought to hand on Sunday. Top producers were blue Dunn midge, rainbow warrior(if the sun was out) and a blue poison tung.
On The Fly 6 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Sounds like fun. Hadn't had a Jell-O shot in a while..
