Skeeter ZX190 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Just got back from a day of fishing on Stockton, December 12. Not sure what the conditions will be like when you are here, but today the water temps were 46 to 48. I was fishing for bass and did pretty good. 24 but they were all short except 2 that just measured over 15 inches. I also caught 3 walleye. Everything came on a Megabass 110. Worked fairly steep banks where I was a cast away from the bank and the boat would be sitting in 16 to 22 feet of water. Lots of crappie fisherman were out today. Looked like they were working around schools of shad out in the main lake around Ruark Bluff. As was said earlier, Stockton can get really rough with a little wind. Down right dangerous with a lot of wind. I hope the days you are here the weather cooperates.
rps Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Sounds like a ton of good advice. I hope your trip is a great one!
