Wrong end of the lake? I did see enough fish-like arches as I was pulling out of the bay to make me want to go back there and see if I could get something to cooperate.

However, I'm being evicted from the house for a knitting group on Tuesday, and the Highway 12 bridge launch beckons. It will be the first day of the latest cool-down, so all the biters will have lockjaw, but it's better than listening to knit-purl...

There is absolutely no doubt there are fish up there. My point was they are harder to catch because they are so much deeper and the water clarity can be an additional challenge.

I agree with F&F. PC is a much nicer ramp and it's actually closer. You would drive right past it on the way to the 12 bridge. And with low water, there are lots of boulders and chunk rock around that can damage a prop if you don't know it's there just under the surface. I won't launch there in low water. PC has two docks you can tie off to.

I'm going to send you some images of places to look. I was just out yesterday and the day before. Fish can move around overnight but for the most part, the lake is much smaller than it looks due to underwater features. If you don't find fish......you forgot to turn on your graph. LOL

That may be true if one is driving from Rogers...I have to cross the 12 bridge to get to the park. I'm all in favor of the docks, though.

My problem is focus-- as in what do I want to catch and what do I want to fish for? I want it all on the same trip, and that tends to screw things up. I want crappies and walleye for the table, and I'd like to get started on stripers. However, I also really want some chunky white bass to smoke as I think I can use them to replace salmon...you can see how my mind works--it's like a squirrel in a wheel with a greased hub at times. Ah, well, one day and one fish at a time.

Well you're certainly coming to the correct area for that. I had to Google Map your route. I assumed you would come in from Rogers.

You have a "Care Package" waiting for you. I have map locations, my personal Insight Genesis scans, etc. I can show you the general areas of where fish have been all week. Bass, walleye, and stripers. Crappie.........well if I knew that I'd have some fresh ones in the fridge. I have some ideas but it didnt' work out for me yesterday. I need to check some other areas.

There are walleye as well but they got Nosetoclosetotail disease, stripers are there as are a few crappie. But please please take your limit of whites and THERE ISNT ONE on Beaver.
