Spent the weekend hunting in northeast Arkansas. Not a lot of action. We killed 5 shovelers on Saturday and 7 teal today. Spent all Saturday afternoon driving around looking for ducks. Didn't see many for this time of year in that area. Very few people hunting. Did see some impressive groups of snows. Don't know if the photo does it justice, but this is probably the biggest group I have ever seen in one field. th_f2be03dae8c8a8736b97922624900b97_zpsd

So what you are saying is that I might as well stay home instead of going down after Christmas? Lol, no water=no ducks is what I have always been told.

We have not been to NE AR yet due to poor reports and lack of water. Not to say people aren't killing birds, just mostly on private land where they can pump water. The WMAs have been slow for sure.
