Caught them pretty good. Not great on numbers. Maybe 25. But I had at least 4 over 18 including a 19" football of a rainbow. Watched a big gator brown suck my jig in but didn't connect with him.

I'm tired. That over and back float trip is a lot harder than I remember it being.

Sorry I already posted this on Phil's "generation" report but I figured I would post it on this thread as well. "Just in case." I recently purchased a getaway place at Beardsley creek. I have fished "the rock" for about ten years now. However, I have little to no experience at the lower end. I went this weekend. I fished Saturday and didn't catch a fish. "Though I usually do decent" Looking to get better, (aren't we all) or at least learn some new techniques. The one obstacle that stands in my way is I live about 4 hours away. I am a sheriff's deputy near the st.louis area so...work and distance are my obstacles. Give me a call if you have plans on being in that area. We have plans of coming in feb. While my wife goes shopping, I would like to tag along if your looking for a fishing partner for the day. I do have my own boat so you could come with me as well.
