bs1827 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Have sent a couple PM. Some guys are just too busy this time of year and still waiting to hear from a few. My bro is not a forum user but he may be interested if you guys don't mind. Fine with me.
Dylan Cluver Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 ok if you guys agree i guess we will close this and start tying . Lancer is it better to tie two for ourselves and send 8 out or just 6? No one gripes about obese fish.

Dylan Cluver Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 If we did 2 of our flies for each person we would each only need to send in 6. That sounds fine with me, in previous swaps we sent in some of our own just so everyone got the same group back, but that was with much larger participants so this should be fine. BS1827 should i go ahead and close it? No one gripes about obese fish.
bs1827 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Yeah, I didn't think about that. That would probably make it easier on you when it comes to sorting everything. I will send in 8 then to keep everything simple and straight forward. You can close it if you'd like. I don't think anyone else is interested.
Lancer09 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Ill tie either 6 or 8. Depends how many i can tie without having to go to the shop...
Dylan Cluver Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 I'm fine with either. I personally will be tying single hook streamers on a 2/0 B10s gamakstu in trouty colors No one gripes about obese fish.
bs1827 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I will also be tying single hook streamers. I'll be tying the Fly Fish Food Belly Scratcher Minnow that will look similar to a blue gill fry. It's a pretty universal fly that should work for trout, largemouth, and smallies. It's not a huge streamer, but it should fish well. You can see the pattern here. http://www.flyfishfood.com/2014/11/belly-scratcher-minnow.html Whats our deadline?

That looks sweet! ive dabbled in blue gil patterns on taney and i have caught numerous rainbows and a walleye on them! Have them in the mail by the 10th? i know i originally said the 15th but since there is only a few of us i think the 10th will be good. No one gripes about obese fish.
