LittleRedFisherman Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 I have had a couple g series for 2 years now, but bought the Curado I when it came out last year, have to say love it, it's the smoothest reel I've ever had. This is also the highest price point I've ever purchased, but so far love it, IMO a big improvement over the G for sure. I have a lower end Lews reel as well, and love it to, can't imagine how good the step up is from it! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Bitethis Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Thanks for replies everyone. $80 is most I've ever paid for a reel. So wanting my big boy purchase to be a good one...
dtrs5kprs Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Hope it helped. We probably all sound like shills for Lews, but there is a reason for it. I have them from uncatalogued non magnet versions up to the tournament pro models and all run just about the same. Few bells and whistles, and frame materials are the big differences, BB series excluded.
