Members Bigfishscott Posted February 1, 2015 Members Posted February 1, 2015 Ok, here's the deal. I have a senior in high school that I have turned in to a fishing maniac. I can call him at 4am and say I'll be by in 30min and he will be ready and waiting. So I told him if they won their basketball game today, I would take him to the rock. And you guessed it, they won!!! Help please!!!

Members Bigfishscott Posted February 1, 2015 Author Members Posted February 1, 2015 He can throw anything, a-rig, jerk bait ect. I just want him to do some catch'n. We can fish vertical, have the electronics to do that. Just would like a general idea where to start. Usually only go there once or twice a year. But not at this time of year.
dtrs5kprs Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Rather than run all over looking for deep fish, think I would start 25' or less and look for some fish that will eat the small, slow stuff. First points in the big creeks, bluff end coves/insides, transition rock in the big creeks. Take a look at Quill's reports for an idea. Sort of brace up for working for them. Depends on which part of the lake you are looking at also.
