Members Goggleeye Bailie Posted February 5, 2015 Members Posted February 5, 2015 Is it too early to start looking around 160 bridge for walleye?
Members strat278 Posted February 5, 2015 Members Posted February 5, 2015 might be a little early, but with this warming trend coming up you never know, good luck if you go
jbooth24 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 My boss fishes turnback a lot. He locked hold of a 10lb walleye a couple years ago but I broke off right at the bank. He was soo mad he was cussing up a storm. He did catch a 6 or 7lb last year that was big.
Jim Elam Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Where do you access turnback for wade fishing? Do you have to use a kayak or boat to fish it? Jim "The obsessions of others are opaque to the unobsessed, and thus easy to mock...If we are lucky we all have at least one."
jbooth24 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 It's off of 160 befor greenfield. There will be a place to turn off and park. I use a kayak to fish it. There is other spots down river but never access them befor

Sac River Jim Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Where do you access turnback for wade fishing? Do you have to use a kayak or boat to fish it? Jim you might want to ck out fiddlers ford for wading. it can be hit and miss from year to year depending on the weather and spring rains but Ive caught walleye and crappie up there also under and just above the O highway bridge can be good for walleye in the spring.
Jim Elam Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Thanks Sac River Jim. Will do. Jim "The obsessions of others are opaque to the unobsessed, and thus easy to mock...If we are lucky we all have at least one."
