Members Brandon Knight Posted February 10, 2015 Author Members Posted February 10, 2015 this is good advice. many times in winter you can pick a smaller cove and start at the beginning of one side and just fish all the way around it until you find some fish. then try to duplicate on other areas. Also don't forget the A-rig. It works well on pomme. What size swimbaits do you use on your A rigs? I tried the 5.8 Keitechs and the size down from that (4.8 maybe?).
DChance Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I normally use smaller sized swimbait. 3.5 inches or so. I have used everything from the cheap storms to Berkley grass pigs (smaller ones) and only kitsch knockoffs. I think its more about finding the fish than it is the type of swimbait. Figuring out where in tje water column tje fish are holding. Brandon Knight 1
DChance Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Pomme can be feast or famine. You probably aren't doing anything different than most. Just have to find the fish. Brandon Knight 1
