I have Cingular with a Razor phone... no problems in most places, but I know Alltel is good as well. I've had both and only changed to Cingular because it's what my wife had and we flipped a coin when it came time to consolidate...

Which hill? I found one down stream at a turn in the blacktop just before pulling onto a gravel road (path) to go down towards the old school and Parker's cross. I only had 1 bar on my Nokia though. Would like to know a more reliable location when I go down next time. I don't like to spend my time searching for a tower when I could be fishing!!

There really isn't any one wireless provider that can provide a signal at every location. Like Phil, I use Alltel for my personal phone because they have the best coverage in SW Missouri. For business, I use T-Mobile because I travel so much. T-Mobile also works internationally, especially Asia Pacific, Canada, and Mexico. I'd talk to local people where you want most to use your phone, and try to find a happy medium. However, if I had to guess, it would be Alltel

britts, i usually get 2 or 3 bars in the reeds cabins resort by cabins 14-18. we stay in those cabins every time, but id just drive up to the store and walk over in that area. I might have to check out this alltel if i have any problems with cingular. :)

If its really a necessity there are amplifiers that will not only amplify the signal, but allow the use of an antenna.
