Hey guys,

I just purchased a house around MM 21. Just wondering how the fishing was around there? I plan on fishing for mostly bass crappie and cats. Thanks for all the help.

welcome to the lake dompeters, i'm up at the 5mm so i don't get down that way much anymore,

but i'm sure the fishing is just as good there as it is on the rest of the lake, i think your close to tan-tar-a

(maybe) and i used to tear up the bass and crappie in that area years ago, i'm sure you'll do fine.

Welcome and best of luck. We bought our place at MM43 last summer and have had great luck with Crappie, whites and largemouth. I bought this book on this website http://www.jnoutdoors.com/

It is 10 years old but gives great advice depending on what section of the lake you are fishing. Good luck. Lets all share our success this year on the forum

The book I bought on Ozarks from this site: http://www.jnoutdoors.com/ includes different sections on Bass, Crappie, White Bass and Catfish. All 8 sections of the lake are discussed separately and include those 4 species of fish.

Does anyone know of any books for or info on hybrids and whites?

I mainly fish the lower end; don't know of any books, but I would look for flats at the mouth of the creeks in the evening for summertime fishing and back on the flat basins in the back of the creeks for spring fish(hybrids)as they do a false spawn run. The area with the threadfin shad will be the right spot. In the fall wind blown rocks on the main lake seem to be best. Good luck!
