I have done some research on muskie and walleye this afternoon. Both fish mentioned are predatory fish. Following my research muskie are not a native fish of our Missouri streams,or lakes, they are a northern fish. Primarily shad or perch was the said diet of muskie, on this forum. My brother in law has a degree in wildlife biology, and was also in charge of fish feeding and handling at bass pro. Guess what? Muskie dine on what ever they choose. And,one guy who recently caught a 10lb walleye that had 15inch bass in its stomach. Over the past 30 years I have looked inside of the stomach on most fish I catch to see what their diet is. I was challenged on this so, am now respondind. I would like to know the research that is online for Missouri to better educate myself. Any positive feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Aggressor,

I'm glad you have been educated! I'm really glad you were willing to try to learn a little out about the subject. So kudos to you for that. Now maybe you can help pass the word that those muskies aren't quite as bad as everyone wants to make them out to be.

Let them eat all the drum they want. Seems likw every time I go catfishing. I catch one. Let there be Muskie. I don't mind them. Wouldn't mind catching one just to say I caught one in my lifetime
