Now I don't know about high enough to swallow a car but I have seen a guy pull a 20lb out of there. One year when I was like 14

I have seen a 40 lb flathead come out of there. Have only caught a 12 lb channel myself. It its really over fished though. Best time to fish it is after a big rain and water be up past the lower ramp. Did snag a 40 lb spoonbill two years ago but won't go back. It is a circus down there opening day. Think Bennett springs opening day but with huge trebles and big lead weights flying around.

That is true. Over fished like the rest of the lake . I like going at night not as much people there

Hey fellas when do the spoonville come up, got a new bass rod im wanting to see if it holds up.

I myself use a medium heavy bass casting rod and have a blast when i go. Now i leave that for my wife to do since she would rather catch them than any other fish LOL
