Seems like there are already a lot of people calling for Kim Anderson's head. I'm not one of them, but it's been a rough season. The loss of Clark hurt badly. The freshmen simply weren't ready for major minutes in big time D-1 basketball. The situation with big men is woeful. Nobody is a consistent shooter and none of them are strong enough to be good rebounders.

Were the freshmen overrated? People are saying that they were 4 star recruits so they oughta be better...is that Anderson's fault?

Lots of people expect several of the players to abandon this sinking ship and transfer next year. They say Anderson can't relate to modern players, and that's why there have been so many suspensions.

To me the main keys to next year are whether or not players do transfer, and whether or not Kim can recruit to fill in the obvious needs (a big man and a point guard at this point, and whatever else they need IF players transfer). These guys are going to be better next year if they spend time in the weight room. But for Anderson's sake, they better be good enough for at least a .500 record next year.

Kim didn't forget how to relate to modern players in the last 2 years. Possibly these players aren't the type of personalities Kim relates to best. Let him get his kind of kids in there and then we'll see how he relates. He has a good history of getting kids to play hard for him, while not at this level I still think he can do it. It just takes time and the right kids.

What a BEAUTIFUL morning after for K-State. Congrats and THANKS for beating the all high and mighty jayhawks. EXCELLENT!!!!!

I don't think Kim is going anywhere just yet. Alden is retiring and I doubt he wants to deal with the mess of hiring a new coach. Now if next year is this bad, the new AD may want to hire his own guy.
