Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 20, 2007 Root Admin Posted January 20, 2007 Started without a hitch this morning 8 am. 21 boats of which 3 are fishing "up". Some are weighing in early on account of the weather moving in and the need to get back to St Louis before the snow and ice hit. Water is much slower this morning- 3 units at 707 last time I checked. Our buoys are upright and visible. More later....
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 20, 2007 Author Root Admin Posted January 20, 2007 Good weights... and some not. Some left early to beat the weather back to St Louis. But in the end, the winners we repeaters. Eric and Troy Willis of Branson caught one good trout- a 8.08 lb brown trolling a "salt water plug" in the downtown Branson area. They only weighed in 4 trout total for a 9.44 total. Second was a couple of guys who toughed out the day fishing above Fall Creek, landing 2 legal browns, 21 and 22 inch, 3.06, 3.28 and 6 other trout weighing at 8.90. Third was Slagle and Slagle, 6.30 and rounding out the money was John Hittler and Frank Dielt with 5.74 lb.
