Members Nathan Shaw Posted February 27, 2015 Members Posted February 27, 2015 I'm by no means a tournament fisherman, but I am interested in learning more about fishing for eyes in the early-late spring on Stockton. What is the protocol for following/watching these fellows that do it for a living? I do not want to be a hindrance at all, just looking to pick up a technique or two. Thanks! Nathan
Members Nathan Shaw Posted February 27, 2015 Author Members Posted February 27, 2015 Also, I would assume that the majority of the anglers will be up towards the dam. Any thought on where the masses may be concentrated?
Ketchup Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 The dam area would be my guess also. As far as following the pros, i would stay way out of casting distance, and out of the trolling lane. Theres a good population of eyes in Stockton, we usually catch a few while bass fishing near the dam in the cove on the west side. Nathan Shaw 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. ten_scoach Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Take binoculars. Not allowed on tournament boats but great for the rest of us.
